Meet Valeria – The Heart Behind Taste of Italy
Ciao! I’m Valeria - Italian-born, food-obsessed, and now proudly calling Carnarvon home. If you’ve ever tasted real Italian food, you’ll know it’s not just about recipes… it’s about family, love, tradition, and the stories that travel through each dish.
For me, that story began in my Nonna’s kitchen in Italy. I grew up surrounded by the smell of simmering sauces, freshly rolled pasta, and the belief that food is one of the greatest expressions of care. Those early years shaped everything I do today - from the way I knead dough to the way I choose ingredients.
Life brought me to beautiful Carnarvon, where I’m now raising my son Lorenzo. You’ll often see him by my side in the kitchen… a tiny helper with a giant love for pasta. My passion for cooking grew even stronger when I became a mum - I wanted to bring the flavours of my childhood to our family table, and now, to yours.
Taste of Italy by Valeria was created from that love.
Every pasta, sauce, and meal I make is handcrafted in small batches, using Carnarvon’s incredible local produce wherever possible. I believe in real food - the kind that feels like home, tastes like comfort, and is made with honest ingredients.
